Hi there! Quick question.....I sent out my synopsis' and first 30 pages of my screenplays to a couple of producers and they are interested. What is my next step? Should I ask them what their budget is and take it from there? What should I ask and do?  |

It will depend on what you mean by 'interested' in it. If they want the script, they will make the offer to you, then you find a lawyer/agent to make sure the contract is good and you get paid. As far as their budget - the producers should have a good idea what the costs will be by reading the entire script and seeing how many sets/locations and characters, etc are in it. The best thing to do at this point to keep in close contact with them to see what their TRUE intentions are. They may offer an 'option', or offer to purchase the script outright, or maybe ask you to stay on the project as the writer...whatever it is - be sure they are legit and you get paid.

I am extremely new to this and I guess I want to know what is the best way to go about submitting a screenplay to literary agencies? It seems that you have to know someone in the business but I live in Bonaire, GA. Does anyone have any advise about this.

I am new to this too so can you help me how to publish my books? Yeah I know they are written but not published though cause I'm scared and don't know how much it will cost so any suggestions would be deemable please, pretty please give me some tips? thank you ^_^
