I have a handful that could use feedback. If interested, please write me at lycandavis75@hotmail.com. I'll gladly reciprocate with feedback on one of your scripts. Thanks much!!
-------------------------------------------------
"HOME INVASION: DIFFERENT WAYS TO SAY I LOVE YOU"-A high tension drama/crime/action piece.
One year after his household falls apart following a home invasion, Jerry seeks revenge via a campaign of systematic kidnapping and murder. He doesn't count on meeting resistance in the resilience of Joseph, a middle aged private investigator and Anna, a caring sister.
The 90 page script is an example of the ambiguity of justice tempered with the reality of love and hope of grace. It would appeal to all adult age grouUps and a wide variety of audiences.
------------------------
Logline: Mad Max and Temple of Doom crossed with the Magnificent Seven.
"HARRIERS"-A science fiction/adventure thriller.
After the sinister 'harriers' attack his city and take his family prisoner, Steven engages in a race against time to save them. One man against a nation, saving them will require more than his wits and brute force.
The 92 page script is a tale of one against many. The ferocious harriers are a formidable and frightening prospect that should touch at the senses of the audience. The sacrifice, tenacity, and devotion felt by Steven toward rescuing his family would also appeal to many audiences.
----------------------------------------
Logline: Get Shorty meets Goonies. A vapid starlet finds herself at the center of a combination of mobsters, talent agents, and a household of youth.
"STARLET"-A unique comedy with heart.
Tara is an incredibly vapid starlet. Darryl, her egomaniacal agent, hides her out in the mountains of Montana and is about to release her on the world. However, when mobsters come to collect a debt, the plans go awry and she ends up with the Skinner family farm. What will happen when the mobsters come looking for her?
A wonderful melding of mobsters and children. This 100 page script has heart and will make you smile. However, it also has mafia henchman who are doing a job. It would appeal to many audiences due to its subject matter. A unique work, to be sure.
-------------------------------------------------------
Logline: Waiting for Guffman meets Slapshots. A civil rights attorney starts a left handed polo league and experiences how it feels to be a misfit.
"RIGHT HAND SNAILS": A character driven comedy with dramatic elements.
--
Upon learning that left handed play is banned in polo, Tyler Herndon, a civil rights attorney and horse lover, starts his own league for southpaws. Along the way, he realizes love and meets some rather unexpected resistance.
--
The work is 101 pages and is a classic pitting of an underdog against the status quo. The comedy is derived from the hilarious incidents that arise due to the different personalities that are brought together and how they deal with adversity. The light moments are mixed with times of drama that gives the story earnest heart.
