Dark Tales Monthly Short Story Competition
Original, unpublished horror and speculative fiction of up to 5000 words required. Deadline last day of each month.
Prize money: £100 ($165 US), £50 ($82), £25 ($41) , £5 ($8) for all other shortlisted entrants; plus publication in the professionally-illustrated anthology Dark Tales.
Entry fee £3 ($4.75) or £6 ($9.50) to include tick-sheet critique. Free entry for subscribers - subscribe for just £15 for four issues if you're in the UK, or $40(US) elsewhere.
